Ohio State vs. Michigan.
Yes, the biggest rivalry in college football and arguably the biggest in sports. Living near Columbus, one has to be here to appreciate the fanaticism. During home games, this city goes dead. No, completely dead..like a ghost town. Like one of those little towns in a Norman Rockwell painting during Sunday church.
This year it is a home game, but it is for all the marbles. Not just the Big Ten Conference Championship, but the winner definitely goes on to the BCS National Championship Game. About a month and a half ago, I commented on how Michigan could be number two in the nation coming into this game, and I wanted it. An Ohio State victory means we have a chance at a historic milestone when winning the national championship: we would be the only team in history to beat three #2 teams in one season on route to the championship. See, earlier in the year we beat Texas when they were #2 (their only loss to date, I might add). We would beat Michigan, the current #2 and finally we would beat whomever would be #2 going into the BCS Championship game.
Historic, indeed.

Yes, I am a fan (although, not a fanatic). If you ask either my eight year old daughter or thirteen year old daughter, "Where are you going to college?" the answer is "THE Ohio State University!"
